Here are a few beginner green smoothie recipes you can try right away. This takes less than 5 minutes to do, and will transform your health like nothing else.
Remember the formula is really simple, 50-60% fruit, 50-40% dark leafy vegetables to start(Spinach, Kale, Chard, etc)
Strawberry Spinach Wonder
1 Healthy Bunch of Spinach (about 1 lb)
2 cups of Strawberries
1-2 Bananas
Add 1 – 2 Cups of Water (enough to make it a smooth liquid consistency)
Blend until all ingredients are liquified. If smoothie still tastes “Strong”(green), add more fruit to balace out the taste until it tastes sweet and delcious
the Kale Original
We use this recipe practically every morning, similar to the one in the video
1 Bunch of Kale (refer to the end of video to see what a ‘bunch’ looks like)
2 Ripe Pears 2 Ripe Bananas
Add 1 – 2 Cups of Water (enough to make it a smooth liquid consistency)
Blend until everything is liquid, and serve.
Add your favorite fruit to cater to your tastes, works great with strawberries, raspberries, peaches(Mmmm, peaches!) Note on Blueberries: Avoid using blueberries when you’re just starting out with this… blueberry smoothies need to be consumed FAST because they have a gelatinous property and will basically turn your smoothie into jello if left out for more than a few minutes.
Thank you for watching! See you in the next video.

Hey everyone, thank you for watching the first free video, I’ll be publishing a lot more in the upcoming weeks before the course launches.
Please post your comments and questions here about the videos, the course, I am craving to hear from you and will be answering your comments and questions on here as they come in.
Thanks for the link. It seems to cover the two main ingredients for health being pursued at the moment. Greens, and an alkaline diet. Must try!!
Great video Kacper. I have actually been doing this for a while now, i have a good blender and a Phillips Juicer and combine the two for a wide range of healthy drinks.
I always add a small beetroot to my drinks and if anyone doesn’t like the taste of some of the ingredients then do what i do and just add half an unwaxed lemon to the Juicer and that normally makes any recipie taste like lemon. Great stuff.
was that one cup of water you added to the smoothie as well?
###Kacper’s Reply
Yes, you MUST add water
I usually fill the blender half way up with water, seems to be a good amount. Have been doing this for so long I don’t really measure the water any more just go be what “Feels” right.
I will certainly try this method. I take Jade Greenzymes every day, so my body should be part way there already.
Thank you for a great video! I’m very much into health and nutrition (I even have a commercial Vitamix like yours!). This is a great tip that I didn’t really know about but that I’ve been doing, somewhat, without realizing it. I recently started adding spirulina and chlorella to carrot juice and it goes down really easy. All I taste is the carrot juice even though it’s green! It really does give me energy too. I look forward to it every day. I’ll have to try some of these variations.
###Kacper’s Reply
Hey Ginger
You will feel the real effects when you do 2 bunches of dark leafy greens every day
( 1 in the morning, one later in the day), and do it consistently every day. It’s really like a flood of energy
The site will not accept my email address regardless of how often I try ?
Hi Alfred,
Everything seems to be working fine on the site – what browser are you using?
This is a powerful revelation. when poeple talk about eating more alkaline food souce, I always missed the link, nowonder alot of us have not received the benefits. your explanation and practical example has really done it now.
By the way can broccoli also be used as the Green?
Are these recipes for one person? It looks like a huge amount of smoothie to drink at one time. Or do you make enough for morning and night all at once, and save half?
Kacper, This sounds amazing and amazingly easy! I am going to start it right away and am including my 70 yr. old husband in it, also! He doesn’t know it yet but he is going to love it! LOL *He isn’t totally sold on the laundry magnets, yet, but he’s getting there.*
Thank you for everything that you do, to save the earth and her people! I appreciate you sharing your vast store of knowledge.
p.s. Your baby girl gets cuter and cuter, every time I see her. What a gem she is!
Kacper, I do have a question. In your recipes for a “green smoothie,” are the amounts of ingredients of each smoothie, for just one smoothie, for one person, for one serving?
Thanks!
Many thanks for this video. Here is a variation that I have discovered over the years:
When steaming/boiling vegetables for consumption with a conventional dinner, I have been saving the left over (green) broth in a beer glass and keeping and sampling it for a day or two. I prefer it to fruit juice in the morning at breakfast, and it is delicious at any time one is thirsty.
Any comments from the nutritionists out there?
All we really have growing in abundance right now is beet greens, they are very similar to chard (which, in our garden, is just a few inches tall right now). My daughter also has a ton of blackberries in the freezer that she picked (9years old, lol). Are those berries going to be too tart or may we use those as well? Thank You For Your Time!! Jessy
###Kacper’s Reply
Jane you are correct, please always stick to buying Organic produce for smoothies(or for anything really), there’s a tremendous difference in nutrition value. But most of all non-organic produce is sprayed with pesticides and other crap.
As for eColi, that’s not something I would worry about unless the plants look seriously ill(brown, wilting, etc) Use your judgement, if the plant looks sick, don’t eat it
###Jane’s Comment
Kacper, I am writing this comment for the safety of your
new adorable baby Chloe and any other babies out there.
Fresh raw veggie drinks are great…when they are FRESH and CLEAN
Unless you pick the veggies straight from your garden, you do not know
If they have fallen on the ground or been stepped on by a farm worker.
Recently, a baby died from eColi becaiuse her Mom gave her
a raw spinach smoothie that obviously was not from fresh clean spinach.
When you buy a “tub” of prewashed organic (and it must be
Organic or you are just drinking petroleum pesticides and fungisides)
spinach for your smoothie, the spinach can get soggy and
sometimes “stinky” if you do not use it right away within a day
Or two of buying it. Be aware to sort through your bunch of spinach
And remove all the soggy leaves and wash the good leaves before using.
I also recommend peeling the carrots if they are not from your garden
as you may not be able to wash off the dirt that could have reisue of
Who knows what (natural fertilizer manure, mice pee or shit…etc)
Although I do enjoy raw juices immensely, for health and energy,
There is something. to be said for the health longevity and beauty of
the Chinese people and their culture where they have learned over the
past five thousand years of advanced ciivilization to eat plenty of vegetables
lightly steamed. rarely if ever raw.
Hi Kacper, I really appreciate you demonstrating how to make the green smoothy…it is helpful to me to know how much to put in the blender. I enjoy visual aid. It looks like a lot to drink. Do you eat other foods beside drink them? I think I would be full if I drink all the greens and then the fruits. Have a great day and thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge of health. Donna
Thank you for that very positive and yet very simple message. I have been doing basically what you are reccomending for several years now, like about 13 years and I do not remember the last time that I had a sniffle, cold or flu or was sick in any shape or form, so I back everything you say up !00%. Also I strongly reccomend the vita-mix over any other machine as I have tested some of the best on the market but you cannot go beyond the Vita Mix.
Well you got it ruight with the magnetic washing system I have just bought – its amazing – so I will trust you on this. Guess what – all I have growing in my garden here in the UK now is spinach and chard, so I have it on tap
Thanks
Alison
Hi. I’m anxious to try this. Are these recipes for one portion?
I was looking at your receipes and think you should add organic strawberries as most strawberries in the US have fungicide sprays, better yet google pesticides in fruits and vegetables and this should help in healthy receipes using nontoxic foods.
###Kacper’s Reply
Hi Linda – we only use Organic produce – of course
And 90% of our greens are grown at home, except in the winter time.
Curious if you suggest this as a meal replacement or just supplemental to what you are already eating? I really don’t eat breakfast at all so i know that is a major no-no but maybe this could help in that area as well.
I enjoyed the video and will try the recipe. Now, without sounding like a dummy…………..What is Kale?????……..I am down under so it might have a different name. Please let me know……Regards Craig
HI
do you need to prepare it fresh every time, or can we put it in the fridge, and for how long? also can the smoothie be frozen?
thanks
Maggie
Hi Daniel,
No, broccoli cannot be used as a green. When we say “leafy greens”, it means it is a laef that you can wrap around your finger.
A good general rule of thumb, when it doubt, if you cannot wrap it around your finger, it’s not in the “greens” category. Broccoli is more in the vegetable category and doesn’t have the same properties as dark leafy greens, which I described in the video.
Thanks for getting this info out to the public Kacper. Certainly, many of us have heard about the importance of dark green vegetables, but its always been hard to find a way to actually eat them, as we are not cows. Will try your recipe asap.
RE: Serving Questions, Suppliment / vs Food
The glass I used in the video is a tiny glass, which is good if you want to start slow at first. But we drink A LOT of this stuff… So one of these recipes makes us 2 giant 10oz glasses of smoothie, which is enough for 2 people, or only for 1 if I am really hungry.
Green smoothies aren’t a “supplement” really, when you consider the dramatic implications of how much vitamins and minerals are in them. When you start doing this you’re basically flooding your body with everything its silently starving for, so the green smoothies start becoming your source of 80%(or more) of vitamins, minerals. Its more like a superfood than a supplement
I made this up and had 3 lrg glasses , Since its only me here can I cover and refridge for another day or does it have to be made fresh everyday ., Ive also had a lot of Boel removed , so is it safe for me to drink 2 lrg glasses a day , Is this your total meal
Thanks Winn
thats bowel removed
thanks Winn
Hey Craig,
Kale is a popular green leafy vegetable here, you can find it in many stores. I know in Australia certain foods are a lot more scarce, look through the store to see what is available, if it’s leafy and green and you can wrap it around your finger then is worth testing to see if you like it. You can never go wrong with Spinach. See if they have chard. And like someone mentioned, get all this stuff ORGANIC, don’t buy any non-organic produce, it’s been sprayed with pesticides and other nasty stuff you don’t even want to know about.
Hi Jessy,
Hmm – 9yearold berries? I’d toss them and get fresh ones, at least fresh frozen ones. Blackberries are great in smoothies, experiment to see what tastes best to you.
Hi Neen,
Go easy on your husband with the green smoothies. The older people get, the harder it is for them to digest raw foods like this because of years of cooked and damaging food, which creates a lack of certain enzymes, so start slow, smaller amounts and not as many greens, try 25% greens and 75% fruit at first – it will still have a tremendous effect on the body and your husband will notice it.
Kacper
I love eating raw. In fact, that is shaping my landscaping; blueberry bushes, apple trees, hyckleberry bushes, pear trees, plum trees, tomato plants and peppers each summer and collards and kale which can stay in the garden almost all winter, providing food all that time. I used to eat a lot of beans and greens–cook beans in a crockpot adn add the chopped fresh greens as I turn off the heat. i prefer the raw smoothies. Usually, my smoothies are not with sweet fruit, but withtomato and green pepper. Still, I agree taht getting enough greens each day is what our society is missing.
Me Again
Im 76 , did a lrg glass full first time before I read Neens reply .
I am very bloated and have drank several glasses of warm water , what else can I do to get this through me .I also have a hernia , perhaps too much for me .

I too come from down under but I am from New Zealand. Chard in Down under terms is the same as silverbeet, and Kale, down under, is also kale so there should be no excuse for not using those two wonderful ingredients. Taste so good too.
Tried this today Kacper & tastes great. We’re in our late 70’s so thinking we should have it just once daily, at least for awhile. I, especially enjoy this as I’m not fond of “green” salads.
Thank you – K.
I am enjoying this New and correct way of getting the best from Leafy Greens. Thanks for your clear “How to implement” approach. In case there is anyone out there still struggling with the Misguided and Old rule of “Eat fruit alone or not at all”, you are behind the News. This has long been conluded to be for an isolated (few) individual, depending on their state of (nuetritional) balance, and that balance is often unique to the individual. it is not a general rule as most people may still take it to be. so go ahead and enjoy it.
Just tried our first green smoothie – 3 big leaves of silverbeet (that’s what we call it here in Australia, I think it is the same as kale) plus a banana and a mango and 2 cups water. Brilliant! It tastes good and feels as if it is very nutritious. However, I am a diabetic and should not consume too much fruit – probably one of these a day is OK but two might be too much. (I only drank half of this one).
Question: what about using lettuce as the green? does that count or is it too watery to provide enough vitamins?
Hi Malcolm,
Great! You should check out “Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days”, do a search in Google for it. Reversing diabetes is common place with this type of approach, green juices are a big part of it, but yes, limiting fruit consumption is very important during the healing process. Lettuce is still a green, but it is on the “weak” side effects wise.
Many people have been able to lower insulin levels by following the green smoothy diet too – check your blood sugar levels as you progress with them day by day, week by week, let me know how things go, I would be curious to see how things go for you!
Hi Kacper
Recieved my magnet have been using them , seem to be working
well. I have excema and was looking for a way to get my clothes clean with out soap. Thanks for your site , love the green smoothies, thanks for the recipes. They real taste great. Have a great day. Marilyn
I have a juice man juicer is this as good a device to use as a blender since it separates the juice from pulp. Juice man gives supporting evidence to the green life so to speak he points out the one of our most powerful beasts the Bull and how it thrives on green grass.
I’m allergic to bananas, any alternatives? Thanks.
Winn, take some fennel seeds, or what I prefer is caraway sseeds. I have to swallow them whole with water, but if you can chew, eat them. Health food stores have them in bulk. Grocery stores have them on the spices isle. I even cook these along with beans and such in a crock pot, and add them the last 5 minutes, or even after I trun off the heat, of root crops.
These seeds stop gas from forming. When raw, they add some digestive enzymes. You might try eating the fruit smoothings about an hour or two separate from the geen smoothies. I have to do that if i have been eating cooked food for a while.
Diabetes runs in my family on both sides. I have had pre-diabetic conditins and have not wanted to get really tested for the condition. Recently, I re-investigated the idea that sweet/carbs, even sweet raw fruit, with fat is te real problem. Alos, my blood type becomes diabetic with most grains. Some types, my Mom, get high blood sugar with red meats.
I am the body type that should not eat fruit, but when I eat sweet fruits raw and as their own meal, i feel great. Usually i do add some cinnamon. without fats in the blood stream at the same time, the insulin can put the sugars into the cells where it belongs, and I am satisfied on lower calories and for a longer time, with less digestive problem, than with anything else I eat. I have not eaten this way all year, but it really took me out of some slumps, dietary and energy both, during the heat of Summer. I still do it when i can afford it- much of my garden froze weeks ago. Bananas ehlp a lot, but I cannot afford the organic ones, and anything i eat a lot of, i need do better if it is organically fertilized and raised.
I love head lettuce. I grow it, munch on it plain, put it into smoothies, and even put it in beans and such at the end of cooking so they wilt in. I also have learned that it is on the weak side of the greens nutrition, but it is very strong in choline=–something that helps nerves. THe main problem is it IS a cooling herb, making me feel a it colder in winter months, when I have the house temperature down. I bought some 100% wool gaberdine-cloth and have made some pajamas to counter the damp coolness.
I just made “MY Version” of YOUR Green Smoothie
.
. DO NOT be tempted to use too much STEVIA or it becomes bitter and will ruin your desire to ever use it again!!!!! .
Insulin is undaunted …it just stores the sugar in our fat cells… causing us to become FAT and lack energy and go into a ‘coma’ type state.
I’ve read your articles with amazement that OUR Government does not require higher additives to our gasoline to increase efficiency.
the young man who has diebeties is just one of a few instances that should not consume fruit (or very little because of the sugar content) I do NOT have diabetes, just a 20 year candida systemic that i’ve failed to overcome partially because I have actually had M.D. Doctors tell me they do not believe in “Candida”… so I must have bought into this theory and too mainly Olive leaf, and KOLORX and MOSTLY watch my diet. I’m taking stronger steps now!
My son jokes “don’t ‘feed the fungus’ Mom”, which includes ALL fruit and ALL grains and All beans and ALL sugar ( including honey, molasses etc) not every one with candida needs to be this rigorous… just an example that there are many people who are N O T even aware that they have an imbalance which means they should not consume fruit…. which you include in YOUR green smoothie. Perhaps a CAUTIONARY note regarding fruit will be helpful
For those who should NOT consume fruit, there is a delightful substitute for fruit to create a yummy, tasty, high fiber smoothie. I begin with a ‘base of: a teaspoon of ’super greens’ (including spirulina, chlorella, etc) as a base and then add lettuce and a moderate broccoli head, with a teaspoon of ( cold/first press, organic) Olive oil and 1 tsp of Inulin(a pre-biotic that feeds the ‘pro-biotics:-) ) and 1/16 tsp Stevia and natural sweetner with a LOW glycemic index and does not raise the blood glucose levels AT THIS DOSE nor does if FEED the FUNGUS
Just wanted you to be aware that there are MANY people with the likes of ’syndrome X’ etc, candida, and Diabeties that are NOT lazy nor couch potatoes out of CHOICE… they do not understand the food adictions that food can cause. The FIRST really understandable explanation of these symptoms was from reading Dr Atkins book “the Nutrition Revolution” (fair warning… pass on the cream cheese… while you may not gain weight eating cream cheese or prok rinds on the atkins diet… too much of anything other than greens and cruciferous vegies is not a good idea…….
.. for me anyway).{through my Hair Analysis I had to temporarialy (sp) give up cruciferous vegies to keep from blocking the minerals i was defidient)
The role of insulin as a hormone, when OVER STIMULATED (through over use of: sugar/fruit/honey/molasse and starchy vegies {potatoes, and other root vegies} and ALL grains CAN (if we are so disposed) to actually cause our cells to close their receptor sites (which clears the blood of hyperglycemia (too much glucose in the blood) by using the glucose in our blood for ENERGY
Please do not label people who fail Your Solution as lazy, non DOERS. They (we) have had this put down all of our lives (for some recently acquired this disability/slow metabolism/diabeties/syndromeX or all of the above.
We NEED: to find out what is our own problem with low metabolism… whether it be hormones, low thyroid, low adrenals, high cortisol etc etc etc… I have been diagnosed with all of the above (and more) through Hair Analysis (forensic medicine), saliva tests, blood tests, hooked up to ‘finger’ testers, ‘arm’ testers etc.
PLEASE give these huge number of people the support and guidance they need, crave, require… to recover from lack of knowledge… Most people who have a big belly or chronic obesity, syndromeX etc are not aware of their problems….
Pleeaassee help these VICTIMS of our societial lack of knowledge and a false trust that our GOVERNMENT would not allow anything that can hurt us to be on the market… when ‘our maket’ is in fact captialism, based on making a profit. Capitalism works when there are well maintained safeguards that our PAST and recent past leaders saw fit to remove. And once the ball is rolling and $$$ money is coming in…PROFIT…. the pendulum of profit requires HERCULian effort to push the profit pendulim back to requiring HEALTH to become NUMBER ONE.
FOOD…, natural fertilizers (to be sure we are geeting all the nutrients that were in the soil the first time the plants grew in ‘that’ spot…
CLEAN AIR; natural cleaning products are available as you know …..I use your magnets and enzymes for stains and your gasoline additives to increase my Subaru forester with my 2K miles a YEAR I drive(really!)
Sooooooo….. the Government must increase the quality of our food, air and information
(I wonder if congress/senate actually knows what Symdrome X consists of… most of them probably have it and do not know it… (based ON THE FACT that STRESS is one of the five symptoms of syndrom X ( 3 out of 5 symptoms qualify as syndrome X..stress, high bloodpressure and three others I forget right now >google it!) and do not know what to do about it. so how can they protect us especially in the face of capitalism at its worst!…. in the form of mis information and bullying through lobbists and from those who profit the most… I have been told to ‘follow the money’ ‘trail’ to discover the ‘culprets’ … this information is sometimes convoluted with purpose.
I’m finished for now… tired myself out before all of the problems have been address and solutions addressed.
I’m sorry… must go rest now Happy Thanksgiving. And thanks for being on the right track. I drink ‘green smoothies’ all of the time. I drink my salad (including vegies etc) Toni
can u add protein mix w/milk
Dear Kacper
I have been making smoothies for a while now, but not quite the way you said. I think your smoothies will help promote alkalinty and ultimately the age reversal that I am seeking. I am 69 years old and have always been interested in having optimal health at any age. That is why I am seeking to find out every thing I can do to achieve this. I cannot wait to learn what else I can do not only for myself but also for my family and friends and anyone who will listen. I sincerely hope that I can have the other 6 secrets. How much will the DVD course cost? Please let me know ASAP as I am on a fixed income and would like to receive it, since you have said that there would not be enough to go around.
Cecile
I’m interested in trying…however, I’m Deaf and am hoping the DVDs are closed captioned or have options to use subtitles?? Please say yes!
BTW, the video above didn’t have CC or subtitles so I had no idea what was being said.
At least, I watched the video anyway…but for future references, please add CC or subtitles. Thank you!
Hey Al,
I would definitely NOT add protein powder or milk to the smoothie. It would take too long to explain here, Some more details about that are in the course.
Cindy,
You can use any fruit imaginable, if you are allergic to bananas, use Strawberries, Pineapple, Mango, Pears, anything sweet. Try to buy organic whenever possible.
